So I am kind of in shock after this year's Mayhem Festival. Not only was the line up the best I have seen in years, but I also found out that I was one of 2, count them TWO photographers approved in the pit for this band they call... SLIPKNOT! When they said save the best for last, THEY WERE NOT KIDDING! I had never seen Slipknot live and with all the tragic stuff that has happened to the band in the past few years (their bass player unexpectingly passing away) I thought they would never get back together and call it a career. Lucky for me that didn't happen and this year, I got to see why Slipknot is one of those bands you need to see live before you die. Explosions, fire, guys in jumpsuits and scary masks and to top it off, a clown taking a baseball bat to a drum made of kegs! If you don't believe me; check out these EXCLUSIVE pics for Buzznet!
