The one band I have been wanting to cover for the past two years--it finally happened. Atlanta based heavy metal outfit Mastodon made it's way to Seattle on Monday in support of the Heritage Hunter Tour along with Opeth and Ghost. This show was supposed to take place at The Paramount Theatre but, for some odd reason, was moved to the Showbox SoDo at the last minute. But that didn't stop the fans from attending as the house suddenly got packed to the brim just for this band alone. Mastodon has to be one of the best live bands to date and to be honest, I was surprised they were the middle act when clearly they should have been the opener.
